Carter Geering are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Property Consultant to work from their Crediton office.

The successful applicant will enjoy a varied and at times challenging role. You will be dealing with our clients, promoting the business and managing transactions in both our rental and sales departments. There will be a good proportion of administration, but that will be balanced out with visiting properties, meeting people and, for the right candidate, ongoing opportunities to progress their career further.

The right candidate is most important to us, and we are open to hearing from experienced agents through to those with little experience and a willingness to learn, including those looking to undertake an apprenticeship.

Coronavirus Update – May 2020

After the recent Government announcements, regarding home movers and property viewings, we have revised our opening hours and working conditions.

The safety of our staff and customers, remains the main priority, and we will be following guidelines in all aspects of our business.

From Monday the 18th May, the office will be open from 9a.m. until 1p.m., Mon to Sat, however, there will still be reduced staffing numbers, and we request that you only visit the office if your enquiry cannot be done remotely, and unless urgent, by prior appointment only. June Market Comment

We burst into June experiencing some of our busiest levels of activity for quite some time, and we still haven’t had time to catch our breath!

Nationally, the Office of National Statistics last week released their figures for 2016, showing that 78% of neighbourhoods in England and Wales had an increase in the median price paid for property in 2016. This was interesting as the media hype at the moment continues to focus on doom and gloom for the property market which we simply aren’t seeing here.

June started with the general election – something we normally expect would slow the market down. In this instance though, the build-up didn’t even act as a speed bump. In fact, election week was one of our busiest weeks for tying up sales so far this year.
